You know those times when you just want to run out to the store or you're just sitting around the house and you don't really want to put on make-up, but your skin looks kinda blah? This is more like a tinted moisturizer. It's very light and fair/light color is just enough to even out my skin tone without looking "made-up". It gives my skin a moist, dewy look and it feels good on. It has a 15 SPF sunscreen built in which is nice when you're in a hurry. I think I'll probably use it in place of foundation. With a little blusher and some lipstick I'm ready to go.
As I get older (I'm 61) and am getting a few wrinkles I notice that some foundations seem to settle into the creases. This product doesn't do that. Sometimes I wear it over Olay Regenerist Regenerating Lotion with UV protection. Packaging May Vary, 2.5 fl oz for a little extra moisture, but most of the time I just wear it alone. I should mention that you use about the same amount as the one drop or so that you would with the Regenerist. A little goes a long way. If I use more than that it ends up looking like a regular foundation. Does it make me look younger? I don't know about that, but it does work as kind of an illuminator, making my skin look fresher. I think that gives the illusion of younger skin. And "dewy wrinkles" are better than dry ones, right?
I have fair skin and usually use a light to medium foundation. This color, the fair/light is perfect for me. I think it tends to have a little more color than some products and I'm afraid a medium could end up looking too dark or made up.
