This winter my skin has been really dry and flaky. All the heavy moisturizers I tried broke out or caused redness to my very sensitive skin. Amazing stuff!
I bought 2 bottles directly from Swanson one for me, one for another in their bogo offers. I thought what do I have to lose?
I injured my feet badly 15 years ago when helping someone clean a flooded basement. Crouching in dampness for 3 days badly injured the tops of my feet. I was never painfree, and on most days felt like someone was jumping on my feet. I walked like an old person, and there was a swelling on the tops of my feet. I would wake up during the night over and over because of the pain and trying to find a new position for my feet. I had resigned myself that this was the way I was going to be. Unfortunately this product did not work for me. I wish I could give a reason as to why, but I cannot. What I can tell you is that I have been using it for approx. three months faithfully, only to find that the most it did was transfer my acne colonies in a different direction. Yes, that's right--when one colony disappeared, another appeared just slightly n/s/w/e from the original position. It was very frustrating; I resorted to sleeping in different positions and other potentially helpful measures, but to no avail. Here are the specs of my skin:

My only drawback with this is that it really needs to be used two times a day. I hate putting it on at night because my fiance always gets himself a mouthful of chemicals when he tries to kiss me on the cheek. It would be great as a body wash if it didn't leave any residue (it only leaves a gross taste) or as a once a day application where people who prefer nighttime could do that, or I would put it on in the morning and then apply my makeup when it dries.

However, it has been doing wonders for my chest and shoulder acne. It also really reduced the redness and bumps I got from a facial waxing earlier this week. It is totally great stuff, and although it says "for normal to dry skin" I have very oily skin and I don't see any bad effects. I will definitely buy more.

I poured it into a different bottle with a smaller spout, and so I can apply the cream more efficiently and it lasts a little longer as well. Proactiv is GREAT, but this configuration will leave you very disappointed. The sizes are small for the price and you might as well buy the "Mega" Supersized bottles instead for an additional $10.
