I have used Corn Huskers lotion for decades, having seen my grandparents use it on the farm when I was a kid. This product has been around forever. For one reason - IT WORKS! Not only is it a great hand lotion, but it works all over the body. I ride a motorcycle a lot and frequently get sunburned.(I miss places with the sunscreen). I used to use Solarcaine First-aid Cream but that isn't made anymore and it really didn't help the healing. So I tried Corn Huskers on a moderate sunburn. The burning went away immediately. The redness faded quite a bit after a few minutes. And I did not peel! I have used it a number of times since. It will not "cure" sunburn. Nothing will. But it makes having one much easier. And only a pretty bad burn will peel.
Use it as quickly as possible after you have been out on the sun. It can be applied again if necessary. Or anytime you have dry or chapped skin. I know many mechanics and people who work around solvents that keep this lotion in their toolboxes. The scent is different though not unpleasant.
