Creme de La Mer is definitely a great product, I just wish it was a bit cheaper. I don't think there's any cosmetic really worth spending over hundred dollars.
Anyway consistency was lovely, rich but not greasy. Creme absorbs right into skin leaving it very elastic. Smells fresh (reminding me of a classic european Nivea my grandma always used). It's is a wonderful moisturizer which is even more important than antywrinkle cream. I don't believe there is any potion or lotion that can really "fix" wrinkles, but moisturizing skin well can prevent it and make them softer. De la Mer moisturizes very, very well.
